Purpose & Mission

CLBO (Church league Basketball organization) was founded out of a vision gave his servant Jean Marc Cedieu Daniel over 15 years ago. As a young man, Jean Marc Daniel came to know the lord Jesus christ as his personal savior. He participated in many ministry activities including choir ,dance,teen outreach,music minitries and many more because of the godly influence of both his parent who were active in ministry.When Jean reached adolescence he developed an interstin sports. Namely Basketball and Football. Because of the strong sense of team that was preached by his coaches, Jean became close with many of his teammates. But one thing he noticeed while playing Varsity football is the lack of Christian Athletes that played alongside him. Jean longed to share the good, transforming power and news of the gospel with his fellow teammates and prayed earnestly for a way to do so.

God answered his prayers, and gave him the vision for CLBO. CLBO started modestly with 4 teams in the North Shore area. It's inaugural season was a great success: and not only did it provide young men with a constructive, safe,and fun means of competition; but it also provided them with an avenue to hear the life saving message of the gospel

Today CLBO continues be a yearly event in the North Shore area of Massachusettes and looks to expanded into a nonprofit ogranzation that can help strenghten the youth of tomorrow. Over the years the number of teams participating, and popularity of the league have grown; but one thing remains the same.And that is the purpose of the league; which is to provide young athletes with an opportunity to make social change and learn about Jesus Christ, and all the while enjoying good Chrsitian Fellowship
